Stare Down, Swinging, Sippys, and Standing

OK, Nonna, we know you are going away and will have spotty access to Ella's blog for a while so we're going to load you up with photos before you depart...





Ella and Daddy have a staring contest



Looks like they both want to challenge you - can you take them both on?





We have all but retired her indoor swing, but Ella LOVES the outdoor swing. She did an awesome job of holding herself straight up in the middle of the swing without leaning on the front of back...





I propped her forward for these ones because after 10 minutes of swinging, I could see her little arms getting tired

We have been introducing Ella to a sippy cup. Picking it up the right way seems to be the first challenge

Making it her lips to take a drink is the next challenge...




We still have to work on that...she managed to bonk herself in the head a few times, though...



So proud to be standing. She can pull herself up on her own when I give her my hand to grab on to...she hasn't ventured to pull herself up on any furniture yet - i think because it is too high...but tries with her toys all the time...
