6 months...Already?

Has it really been 6 months already? Wow - it seems like just yesterday we were bring our little bean home from the hospital and now we are celebrating her half year birthday. It is amazing to see how much she has changed over the last 6 months...

Here are her 6 month stats: Gabriella is sitting quite well, still using one arm for support most of the time. She is eating solid food at breakfast and dinner and her line-up of foods up to today has been rice cereal, sweet peas, asparagus, zucchini, green beans, sweet potatoes, apples, raspberries. Today we are trying pears. She still babbles a ton, but no imitation of sounds yet. She squeals when you tickle her thighs or give her loud kisses on the cheeks. She can easily pass things from hand to hand and loves to stand when someone holds her hands. She is still going to bed every night around 7:15/7:30 and sleeping until 5:30, when she gets up to take a bottle and goes back to be for about an hour or so. She can easily pop her binky in her mouth be herself (and just as easily pull it out) but occasionally, we still have to head into her room at 3:30 to help her out when she can't find her binky in the middle of the night. She takes 2-3 naps a day, totaling about 4 hours. She is such a water baby and loves her bath and the beach. When we can actually get her to stay on her tummy, she moves her legs like she is trying to crawl but her arms, like her mommy's, are super weak. She loves her Mommy and Daddy but doesn't seem to like spending her one day a week at day care. She loves to blow raspberries. She is a drool machine- we often go through several bibs and/or outfits a day. She has a tiny spec of a tooth bud on the bottom right that has broken through but still no full tooth. No height and weight to update until her pedi appointment in a couple of weeks.
