We spent most of the day en route back to Boston but we made the most of it. and Gabriella had her best flight ever. Of the 7+ babies on the plane, she was by far the easiest - 2 hours of napping followed by 45 minutes of eating puffs and looking out the window! No tears at all!
Here are some highlights @ 10 months.
Gabriella is standing on her own like she's been doing it for months. She has taken up to 3 steps on her own but has yet to really launch out. She is a little speed machine on all fours...we have to really keep an eye on her if she is near steps because she will be at the steps and climbing up before we realize.
This month Gabriella got really sick for the first time: an ear infection with a bad cold on top of it! Unfortunately, the medicine did a number on her GI system and we've been up to our eyeballs in dirty diapers for the past 5 days!
She is becoming a better sleeper. Before she got sick, she was sleeping from 7pm-3/4am, eating, and sleeping until 6:30a/7:30a. BUT last night we were up with her for hours...We'll see how she does now that she is back in her own crib.
She loves to feed herself puffs and would eat them all day long if I let her. In our adventures of feeding her new things over Thanksgiving, we discovered she has some strange new food loves including pickles and garlic hummus. She also discovered her love for chocolate ice cream, so we picked up a kiddie cup at the airport to celebrate her 10 month birthday while we were waiting for our flight.
She is still quite the peanut, as her stats indicated last week. She wore mostly size 3-6 month summer clothes while we were in Florida, but is in 6-12 month clothes normally. She has the teeniest feet: still in her 0-6 month Robeez and Pedipeds, though I think we will be getting some new shoes soon.
She finally has enough hair to clip in a barrette (pictures to come this week). She doesn't seem to notice that they are in, either, which is a good thing. Hopefully I will be able to have some fun with barrettes before she starts to pull them out.
Her favorite book is I Love You Pumpkin and she gives herself kisses at the end whenever we read it.
Her favorite time of day is still bath time.
Her favorite song is "Who Says" by John Mayer. Whenever it comes on, she stops whatever she is doing, crawls over to the Ipad and stares at John Mayer's picture...I think she may have a little crush.
Sophie is no longer her favorite toy...she loves stuffed animals, especially her Mickey (Michael's when he was little), Minnie and Pooh stuffed animals.

Hahaha, I love how she's crushing on John Mayer! Poor baby, hope she feels better and that you all can get some sleep!
