We took our little monkey to the zoo on Thursday. After having rain every day of my stretch off of work, it was nice to get outside and do something fun!
W spent a A LOT of time stalking the Lions at the zoo because G is currently REALLY REALLY REALLY obsessed lions.
Also of special interest were the Chimpanzees, mainly because "awww, the baby is so cute!"
Gabriella wanted the baby to come closer, so she did a monkey dance.
No luck luring the baby chimp over...I guess she didn't appreciate G's moves as much as the more mature monkeys did.
As it happens, G said that her favorite animal from the zoo visit was the elephant.
I think this was because of the "elephant tracking" helicopter that she got to play in.
The final favorite animal to hand out near was the ostrich.
This "ostrich egg" may be a little bigger than the one Nonna has...
No trip to the zoo is complete without a ride on the carousel.
This last photo reminds me of "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" but with bees...
