Outer Banks Dunes

For me, one of the most impressive parts about the Outer Banks is the dunes, which I remember going to as a little girl.  They were just as impressive as an adult.  We got there almost as soon as it opened and for about 2 hours we were the only ones there!

Michael and I splurged on a $4 kite...I think we got our money's worth in performance...or maybe we are just poor kite flyers.  Either way, G had fun and we burned some calories running around on the dunes trying to get it up high.

Ready to head home!
