Current favorites are babies (real and doll), m&ms, shoes and coloring. Current dislike = not getting her way.
G is constantly talking and in motion. She loves to sing songs and will often blend two songs together starting with one and transitioning into another halfway through.
She loves to color especially with markers.
This past month was the first time that she got REALLY sick.
Two of her babies have finally earned names: Baby Emily and Baby Abby
G is definitely a "people person"...she is constantly talking about the people we know (family and friends). She asks for her friends Iain and Isabelle daily and she we tell her she is going to daycare she reminds us of all her friends that she will see there.
When we drop her off somewhere (daycare, gym playcare, church nursery) or one of our babysitters comes she will protest for about 2 minutes before she calms down. Generally, all we have to do is tell her that there will be "babies and kids" and she perks right up.
Lately, G is all daddy all the time.
G is doing more and more imaginary play with her babies, cooking and her new tea set.
She would read books 4 hours a day. When we finish reading a book she says "one more time!"
G loves looking a pictures of herself and especially loves to flip through the photo books I have made. She will run and pick one up, bring it over to me and say "I see Ella, I see Ella!"
One of my favorite words that she says is "more" (pronounced "mo-ah"). One of her favorite things to say is "I need this"...and so it begins...
She is quite a ham and is always coming up with little antics to make people smile. She is a master face manipulator and is quite good at copying faces of other people.
As we approach two we are seeing more whining and mini tantrums but generally she is quite agreeable with a little bit of advance notice on activities/when we will be leaving/how much longer she can play with something, etc.
