Weekend away

We visited my parents over the weekend.  The drive down was awful (nearly an hour at a dead stop behind a tractor-trailer fire...at 11:00 at night).  The transition from carseat to crib was even worse (G woke up and would not go to sleep until around 3 am...which meant I was up for 22 hours straight!).  BUT once we got up on Saturday morning, thing were great.  Here are some snapshots...

Nonna picked up some stickers which proved to be lots of fun

Gabriella was obsessed with climbing the stairs at Nonna and Papa's house

We visited the park both days we were away

The slide was a favorite

She would sign "more" nearly everytime she got to the bottom

Also a hit was the old favorite from last summer - the swings
